Coming Back Home To Colorado!

Greetings to all. After a long 18 months in Albuquerque working for Eclipse Aviation I will be returning to my home airport of Eagle Colorado. As usual, I will continute to offer the mountain flying courses. Starting September 15th, the courses will be held to and from Eagle Airport.

The mountain flying courses are generally 2 day scenario based training where the instruction is centered around real-world mountain flying scenarios. Each course is customized to the students skill level and aircraft type.

Mountain CFI & Alpine Flight School have been providing mountain flight training to all levels of fixed wing general aviation pilots for nearly 2 decades. We pride ourselves on providing what we believe to be “graduate level” training for general aviation pilots.

Operating Schedule

We operate on an appointment basis 365 days per year. Call to schedule an appointment.

Mountain Flying courses available year-round.

Backcountry courses available based on snow and moisture at backcountry landing sites, however really available from March-November.
